Vulcan expands Azerbaijan operations with Baku office, contract extension

Vulcan Completion Products has expanded its presence in the Caspian region by opening a new office and warehouse in Baku, Azerbaijan, following the extension of a contract with a major operator in the country.

The company said the expanded facility establishes a permanent operational and commercial base in Azerbaijan, supporting its casing and completion products business while providing closer technical and field support to regional customers.

To support the expansion, Vulcan appointed Elvin Azizov as operations supervisor and Asim Akhund as quality control inspector.

“The extension of our contract in Azerbaijan and the opening of our new Baku office represent a significant milestone for Vulcan in the Caspian region,” said Rauf Aliyev, regional manager for the Caspian and Türkiye. “This strategic expansion strengthens our local presence and enables us to deliver even closer, 24/7 operational support to our clients.”

The new facility will serve as a regional hub supporting operations in Azerbaijan as well as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye, enabling faster response times and expanded technical support.

“Azerbaijan remains a strategically important market, and strengthening our in-country capability allows us to align more closely with the pace of activity in the region,” said Mark Dundee, vice president of Vulcan.

Headquartered near Aberdeen, Scotland, Vulcan provides casing and completion technologies for upstream oil and gas operations in more than 50 countries. The company said its Caspian expansion complements its ongoing product development efforts, including the recent introduction of its PROBE™: MAGMA-SEAL high-pressure/high-temperature casing shoe system.
